26 June 2014 - Learning Fingerweaving

I love the interlocking arrow patterns that can be created with fingerweaving.

I think it's the slowest rate of production activity I've ever tried.

I'm learning from books:

Fingerweaving Untangled by Carol James
Fingerweaving Basics by Gerald Findley
A Manual of Fingerweaving by Robert J. Austin
Fingerweaving: Indian Braiding by A. R. Turner

and Carol James's videos

3 Jan 2012 - Work In Progress Knitting Sun

Knitting work-in-progress put down in a pile looked a little like a sun. It will be a sunny yellow Annis shawl from Susanna IC's pattern on the Knitty website.
