3 December 2012 - Shawl Pins & Photoshop

Mum gave me a shawl pin. Alas I lost the stick.

Diana is doing woodwork classes and offered to make me a replacement.
She got carried away and made me two spares as well.
Very kind of her    :- )

I multiplied them in Photoshop.

13 November 2012 - Billboard, Photoshop & Artrage Banner

Internet provider Internode is using a sun-inspired image
in their summer marketing campaigne.

I used Photoshop to switch my blog banner
that was made in Artrage
for their billboard ad.

It's nice to know that someone out there is getting
paid to create sun-inspired images.

I took these photos at the Caledonian Hotel
on my way home from work today.
I didn't stop in at the pub!

9 November 2012 - Stop Motion Movie

A late post because it took longer than planned to put together.
Made with some of yesterday's fizzy vitamins, my camera,
Windows Movie Maker and Photoshop.

It's only quarter of a minute long and has no sound.

7 November 2012 - Five Apple Pips & Photoshop

Having discovered the joys of multiplying elements in Photoshop
I created this sun with seeds from one apple.

Meanwhile we had a stormy night on Monday
with lots of thunder & lightning (sorry no photos).
On Tuesday it was much calmer at ground level
but the sky was still very wind-blown

2 November 2012 - Needle-threader & Photoshop

I have trouble threading needles so a needle-threader
is a very helpful tool on the rare occassions that I sew.

This is one needle-threader, duplicated in Photoshop.
The background is a photo of tissue-paper
with Photoshop Elements designs added

1 November 2012 - Mango & Photoshop

The background texture, colour and shadow
were added in Photoshop

Thankfully I only get it in a mild way.
