21 November 2012 - Rainbow Ripple Stitch Knit

4 ply Poems sock yarn, 75% wool, 25% nylon
bought at Barb's Sew & Knits at Glenelg on Saturday
3.25 mm needles

I'm still working on the Curved Shawl too
but had a bit of a mishap with dropped stitches (now fixed - phew!),
so I cast on this easier knit for when my brai is tired.

4 November 2012 - Spider Lace Knitting

This is the cast-on for one of my favourite knits, "A Curved Shawl"
from the book "Victorian Lace Today"
(I gave up on the faggoting lace)

I knit this red version with alternative border for my friend Deb,
the blue below for myself (it was the first one)
and a green one (no photo) for my sister.

31 October 2012 - Faggoting (knit lace)

A knitting experiment using cheerful orange yarn.
Faggoting is a very simple knitted lace
- there are lots of variations.

5 September 2012 - Hairpin Crochet Circle

My second attempt at hairpin lace crochet, still very wobbly.
You can find lots of helpful information on how to do this
on the Stitch Diva website
