30 June 2012 - Corel Painter

I celebrated getting half way through the year's worth of projects
by downloading the trial version of Corel's Painter program

If you're in Adelaide and you would like to see some much better
in-real-life painting I recommend the Art Gallery of SA's current exhibitions
"South Australia Illustrated" is a great look at the very early days of European settlement
and for some fabulous works by great European artists of early last century "La Belle Epoque"

13 June 2012 - Korean Pearl Paper Strips

Korean pearl paper strips came with instructions for making those tiny origami stars,

10 June 2012 - Typing Mitts

Knit 2 Purl 2 Typing Mitts based on some my sister designed for herself.
Pink for Nancy, grey for Liz, purple stripes for myself.

I've sprained my left wrist so no knitting for me at the moment - bad timing
as we had our World Wide Knit in Public day at Cafe Brunelli today,
I did lots of eating (and forgot to take any photos there as per every year).

9 June 2012 - Glenelg Beach in Winter

Beach pebbles and sea-grass

Looking south

Looking west across Spencer Gulf

Looking north to Glenelg Jetty

Looking east from the end of the jetty

While on the beach I had a go at doing a video,
inspired by Gabi's video blogging though certainly not as fun as hers
which you can find via her blog and on youtube

I've had to drastically shrink the file size to get it to upload, but here it is (hopefully!)
with apologies for the wobbliness (camera operator) and the blurrines from shrinking the file
