4 August 2012 - Fraying Towels, Fog Today, Native Birds

My old, super-soft, fluffy towels are sadly fraying,
I harvested the tatty bits to create a sun.

We had a foggy morning today, the second day in a row,
unusual for the Adelaide Plains but it's often foggy
up in the Adelaide Hills in winter.

Wood ducks in the Parklands didn't mind the damp morning
(Chenonetta jubata)

Rainbow lorikeets (Trichoglossus haematodus)
Sorry they are silhouetted against the sky
so you can't see their fabulous colours
